 Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get an Entry Guide? Go to How to Enter and follow the 6 Steps.

What does a winning case look like? Review entries in the Case Library.

Can I get an extension on the entry deadline? No. The deadline is Noon, July 23rd 2009. See Step 6 of How to Enter.

I’m not sure if my case qualifies? Look up Step 2 in How to Enter.

I have a good case, but I am not sure I will have enough of a &Results Period& before the deadline for entries. See previous answer.

I’m not sure what category is best for my case. See previous answer.

We ran advertising only for the first three months, but business was up for the whole year. Does this qualify as a 12-month case? Absolutely, provided you have 12 continuous months of “hard” results. Step 2 of How to Enter.

Do I need to be a member of the ICA or ACA to enter? No, you don’t need to be a member of any agency body, or the ACA. We are interested in proven Canadian success stories regardless of the source.

We have a fully integrated case, and conventional advertising played a relatively minor role. Will this qualify? Yes, provided you demonstrate that the totality of your effort caused the business results. Anything you can add about the effectiveness of any part of the effort would then strengthen the case. See Best Integrated Program under Step 2 of How to Enter.

My client is happy to enter, but does not want the case published if we win. This would be a problem, because publishing the winning cases is a requirement. Hopefully, you can find a solution with the client. See Step 3 of How to Enter.
